Earth Day 2023 Impact Report

As we celebrate Earth Day 2023, Idyllwild Coffee is proud to release our annual Impact Report, showcasing our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship over the past year.

One of our significant achievements this year was our adoption of an eco-friendly roaster made in the USA by Loring. This innovative roaster reduces emissions and energy consumption by up to 80% compared to traditional roasters, allowing us to produce high-quality coffee while minimizing our carbon footprint.

Idyllwild Coffee uses 100% recycled plastic mailers made from 65% post-consumer waste and 35% pre-consumer waste for our one and two-bag orders, and orders without fragile items. The mailers are fully recyclable, moisture, tear, and tamper-resistant, save space and weight in transport vehicles, and are printed with water-based inks.

We also partnered with Save The Boundary Waters to support efforts to stop mining activities in the Boundary Waters, a pristine wilderness area in Minnesota. We understand the importance of preserving natural areas like this and are committed to supporting conservation efforts.

Moreover, we are excited to announce our new partnership with One Tree Planted. For every order placed with us, we will plant a tree to support reforestation efforts and mitigate the impact of deforestation around the world.

Overall, our 2023 Earth Day Impact Report highlights our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By utilizing eco-friendly technology, supporting conservation efforts, and committing to reforestation, Idyllwild Coffee is leading the way in the coffee industry and setting an example for others to follow.
